The Bioscience task force was charged with recommanding land use and zoning policies with condiseration by the Board of Supervisors and the Planning Commission with respect to the location of bioscience industry in San Francisco.
Because land use in San Francisco includes community acceptance as well as zoning, the Task Force agreed to give consideration to other issues that relate to the mandate of the Resolution, particularly concerns about environmental health and safety for workers and neighbors.
